Shih-Hung Yang holds a master’s degree in physics from National Chung Hsing University. His multidisciplinary background informs his work, and he enjoys exploring galleries, art museums and museums in cities around the world.

Through photography, he captures moments that move him and invites viewers into a shared emotional experience. With nearly eight years of professional practice, he uses naturalistic light and shadow to tell stories of architecture and space that balance precision with feeling. In his artistic work, lyrical imagery brings each photograph to life, revealing evocative worlds shaped by a distinctive visual sensibility. In 2025, the International Association of Art Photographers (IAAP) awarded him seven distinctions, including Champion, Artist and Master. He also received GPU Crown 1 and GPU VIP 1 distinctions from the Global Photographic Union.

His work has appeared in more than ten solo and group exhibitions in Taiwan, alongside invited exhibitions in countries including the UK and France. Across major international photography competitions in the IPA family, including PX3, TIFA, BIFA and MIFA, and the IAA family, including GPA, EPA and LPA, he has earned a combined 32 Platinum and Gold awards. More than 400 of his works have been accepted by international photographic salons, where he has also received 21 Gold awards.
